Well I used a Death Company Jump Pack to make it even more awesome...But that will be his basic loadout...Jump Pack, Power Weapon, Inferus Pistol (Melta Pistol)...

Well everyone is getting on my case about running my Apothocaries without jump packs as priest with Jump Packs...
sooo...I am going to be taking some of those new Blood Angel Honour Guards and some DC jump packs (the new plastic ones) and throwing on a Apothocary gauntlet and say suck on it...haha
unfortantly my phone is charging so hopefully tomorrow night or so I can show the first of 2 or maybe 3...

GAwd...I Love Friday
WEll I completely forgot about my weekly post on friday last week...haha...been way to busy to even put anything together...I get a chance to play games but that is about it...

Had a Blast over the weekend...
I played nothing but Blood Angels and lets put it this way...my only real effort was against Bjorn himself...not the army with him...and another BA player...

Saturday I played 3 Games...the first two I was helping some new people play the game so I took it a bit easy on them...showed them how units move and fire their weapons and the such...so I purposely forgot about Feel no Pain and my power weapons and such in my army...still won but it was a bit harder...haha
3 Game was my BA army vs Bjorn and his wolves...I literally killed his entire army off...only for Bjorn to walk forward to stop everything in my army single-handlely...is that even how to spell that word...haha
his stupid 5+ invuln or Venerable status just sucked...haha
Sunday was mothers day...hope everyone spent it with a mom...haha
Monday got 2 games in...First was my BA vs a mixed army of Eldar and Tau...I got worried but in the end only lost 3 kill points for my entire army...granted there was only 7 units left in my army but that was enough for 1 guy per squad and the two dreads...haha
Monday night I learned that when playing against another BA player who played nothing but Death Company...get the charge off...and do not get charged...haha
I saw what happens on the recieving end of Blood Talons...A DC Dread w/Blood Talons took out a 10 Man Assault Squad and Sang Priest in one turn...by himself...haha
stupid fleet...haha
But turn 3 allowed me to charge him...and it came down to my 2k army only had 10 kill points and I had my two dreads left on the field...he had just 2 rhinos and a DC squad left...he got 8 Kill Points I got 10+...but I lost a heck of a lot more guys...haha
All in All it was a great time...everyone had fun...and I learned not to get charged by BA armies...haha

Gawd...I Love Fridays
Well tomorrow is my Daughters Birthday Party...just two days ago she turned 4 Years old...man I cannot believe it...in 12 more years she will be driving and in 14 more years she can go over seas by herself without even telling me or her mom...
But knowing her mom I will get blamed for that...haha
Well First off today will have the Pics from my Apoc Game last Saturday...sorry I did not post these earlier but I have been putting this blog of mine to the side a bit to often...hopefully I can get started on that Warhound Titan out of Plastic Card but hey who knows what will happen...I might sell all my 40k stuff and start a company or something like that...haha
I will say one thing...my camera does not send in the same frame every time...it is quite annoying...haha
We did not have a lot of terrain on the field to make it go by quicker...by it was me and another guy with 20k worth of SM stuff the other side had about 20k worth of every other army known to the imperium...it was funny...Had a Baneblade and some sort of Shadowstorm or something like that...the Strenght D weapon was just a bit unfair I think but hey...he was on my team so I was not complaining...haha...
I even had 3k woth of Space Marine stuff I.E. my Battle Company in those rhinos sit there for all 3 turns and not do a thing...I had forgotten about them every movement turn...that was just sad on my part I know...I mean I have does this before but honestly our host/judge was sick and more or less let us do our thing as we had more then enough players to get a quick answer for any questions that came up...
We had a few pieces of terrain an old Imperium Building that had all my snipers in it...10 Scouts and Telion with a Vindicare Assassin...that thing got hit with on average 10 Orbital Bombardments or some sort every turn...it was funny...no one died...haha

Blood Angels ROCK MAN...
Honestly...I felt this way after my 3 games today...my second won may not have been a win...but dear gawd man...if sisters of battle had a phase out number like the necrons did...I would have demolished them too...
Well I played 3 Games earlier today...so 4 all together with the new BA codex...the first 2 today were team games...a 1 vs 1 vs 1...3 way battle and a then a 3 on 3...both were at 1k each...so I took Death Company with Lemartes, a 5 man assault squad w/powerfist and melta pistol a Reclus Chaplain w/jump pack, Libby Dread, and a whirlwind...second game I dropped the whirlwind and brought in sniper scouts...
First game was a pretty close game...but in the end I killed of the orks guy arm and had one objective and contesting the other...againts the necron guy who did not take a single hit...haha...I was to focused on the closer guy...ie the orks...he did a good job...BBBBUUUUTTT...my death company ate up everything they touched before the died...and then Lemartes took a hit...then then charged...it was AWESOME...Strenght 6...Initiv. 7...FREAKIN SEVEN MAN...with SEVEN ATTACKS ON THE CHARGE...oh...my...gawd...he was a beast...tore up some nobs...then the Furioso Dread came in to play with his Blood Talons...he finished off the rest...bye bye killer kans...
Second game was the 3 on 3...my BA and two Eldar against Necrons, SM and Sisters...Eldar guys took out about a squad each from the other side...I took out over 1/2...of the 3 armies combined...Blood Talons are now going on atleast one Dread from now on...PERIOD...END OF STORY TYPE THING...
but we still only tied that game...we would have lost had the Blood Talons not taken out enough Necrons to make them phase out and have the monolith disappear...turn 5 Deep Strikes right next to contest...luckly...he did not teleport any squads to the Monolith or we would have lost...I took out all but 4 Necrons in his entire army...including the Monolith...it was awesome...but he was a new player and only had about 1k worth of Necrons...the sisters did worse...silly faith points...only work if you surivive...haha
The sisters player brought 3 Penete Engines and the Inquisitor Lord Special Character in the walker body...I killed all 4...the Space Marine player brought 4 dreads...I took out 2 of them....oh my gawd...it was awesome...
But the Second game was a tie...
the THIRD HOWEVEVER...
1 vs 2...1500 per side...
BA at 1500 vs 750 orks and 750 Chaos marines...
and lets just say...by the begining of turn 3 the only thing left on their side literally was the defiler...
I kid you not...my assault squads and Dreads killed everything they could touch....took Sang Priest per assault squad...2-10 men squads w/powerfist and melta pistol...2 libby dreads, DC squad w/Lemartes, DC Dread...Reclus w/jump pack...it was a massive death wave against them...I lost my DC Dread, 2 sniper scouts and 2 assault marines...to their entire army...
it was Capture and control...begining of turn 3 it was done...like I said all he had left was the defiler...he had a Chaos Champion running off the board with what was left of a Loota squad of orks...both were within 6 of the DC guys I had that set up just right...haha if not my assault squad would have finished off the lootas and the DC would have killed the one Chaos champion...
they did a great job...and the mark of Tneeztch is nothing to laugh about...I have never seen someone pass so many 5+ invuln saves...oh my gawd...haha...but the libby dreads were awesome...
the 2nd game I had my libby dread with no arms sitting on my home objective with the 24" bubble of fear test...haha...to bad it does not work against vehicles...haha...that was an awesome trick...
3rd game I had my libby dread shut down the Deamon Princes powers with his hood of doom...I just had a blast and the guys I played...had a blast too as they saw the BA codex in its full force...they saw where the messed up and I pointed out where they could have done better...they even pointed out where I could have done even more damage...and by-george...they are right...haha...I am glad I got a good group of gamers...they make the game even more fun...win or lose...I have fun and so do they...
I need to find my Digital Camera...
I got an Apoc game set up for not this coming up saturday but the saturday after that...ie the weekend I do not have my daughter...haha
Myself and another guy will be bringing out SM armies against all comers...15-20k verus however many the other team can put together...which means I need to work on my Warhound titan...if I can get it done in two weeks I sure as heck will be bringing it...but I am not holding my breathe...haha...but that would be awesome a plastic card titan plus however many points we play against whoever shows up...I got a few people already agreed to show up...about 6k so far...hopefully we can get another 10k or so more to show up...it will be awesome...worse case we only get to play 8k vs 8k...I think it will be a blast...as this will be this FLGS first Apoc game...so who knows...

New Chaos Army in the works...
Well I am getting closer to a Larger Chaos Iron Warriors Force
My Plan is for no Deamons what-so-ever...so no Possessed or Deamon Princes...
YET...I may break down later and get one but for now...no Deamons...
Also no same HQ's...which means I have a Chaos Lord (IE Warsmith Model...) as well as a Chaos Sorcerer...
The Terminators are Done...5 Man squad all Chaos Champions and the Mark of Khorne to boot...sooo 4 Base Attacks and 5 on the charge...haha...sick I know right...
Land Raider is done as well as 3 Squads of Iron Warriors...
I am also working on a 12 man squad of Word Bearers that will be the main assault squad...they will pretty much be taking the brunt of the attacks in turn one and turn two...any that survive will keep going till they are all dead...
Also have a Legion of the Damned...The Sargent for that squad I was thinking would make a great Dark Apostle...if not that then a Sorcerer...also have Lucius...for the Giant amount of Power Weapon attacks...I might attach to the Word Bearers just for the extra attacks and wounds on this guy...

I made a Deathwatch Kill Team thingy...
haha...
ok I was bored the other night and I just got done reading that Heros of the Imperium about the Deathwatch Kill team...and you know what...I want some updated Kill Team guys...
Sooo...I used Notepad (lost my key to Microsoft Office so when I rebooted my comptuers I lost Word) and came up with a decent idea...updated the ammo...some weapons...some stat lines...including those Flash Grenades they used in the hallway...I thought that was cool...
Sooo...hopefully this will catch on somewhere...
Also going to try and test it out this saturday and see how broken it really is...haha

The Codicer may select items as if he were a Space Marine Librarian, minus Terminator Armour, Jump Packs or Bikes he may also choose any 2 Space Marine Librarian Powers, but as a Codicer may only use one per turn.
You may also buy Camo Cloaks for the entire squad for 15pts but as they are issued by the inquisition they confier a +2 cover save instead of just a normal +1.
Up to 2 Space Marine Veterans can be armed with a Special Weapon from the following list in place of their bolter:
-Heavy Bolter with Hellfire Rounds and Suspensors: 10pts
-Bolter with M.45 Targeter: 10pts
-Twin-Linked Meltagun: 10pts
Any Veteran not armed with a Special Weapon may be armed with from the following list, the new weapon replaced their Cloose Combat Weapon or Bolt Pistol where needed:
-Powerfist: 25pts
-Lightning Claw: 15pts
-Pair of LCs: 30pts
-Power Weapon: 10pts
Special Weapon Options:
Bolter with M.45 Targeter: A normal bolter equipped with a M.45 targeter with autosense link and Stalker silenced shells acts as a perfectly satisfactory sniper weapon. This weapon will also wound on a 3+ regardless of the target's Toughness.

Heavy Bolter with Hellfire Rounds and Suspensors: Potentially a very versatile weapon - if equipped with an additional susupensor unit that provides just enough stability to allow it to be fired on the move. The effective range is reduced but it gains the abuility to provide suppressive fire while advancing.

Inferno Bolts: A bolter loaded with Inferno rounds can cause far more horrific wounds than a conventionally loaded bolter. This is achieved by filling the bolt with an oxyphoshor gel. Quantom Bolts: A bolter loaded with a Kraken penetrator round is capable of piercing the toughest hide thanks to its adamantine core and improved propellant.

Hellfire Rounds: A bolter loaded with Hellfire rounds is also capable of posioning the most powerful creature. The Hellfire rounds are made to carry mutagenic acid into the enemys' blood stream. Furious Charge: As per rule book, each member of the unit has Furious Charge against only Xenos. (Chaos marines do not work but Chaos Deamons do, as well as Orks, Nids, Tau, Eldar, Dark Eldar, & Necrons.)
The High Ground for me: Any Veteran equipped with a Bolter and M.45 Targeter may leave the unit and move Independently from the rest of the unit for the remainder of the game. This unit cannot join any other units

You may also buy Camo Cloaks for the entire squad for 15pts but as they are issued by the inquisition they confier a +2 cover save instead of just a normal +1.
Up to 2 Space Marine Veterans can be armed with a Special Weapon from the following list in place of their bolter:
-Heavy Bolter with Hellfire Rounds and Suspensors: 10pts
-Bolter with M.45 Targeter: 10pts
-Twin-Linked Meltagun: 10pts
Any Veteran not armed with a Special Weapon may be armed with from the following list, the new weapon replaced their Cloose Combat Weapon or Bolt Pistol where needed:
-Powerfist: 25pts
-Lightning Claw: 15pts
-Pair of LCs: 30pts
-Power Weapon: 10pts
Special Weapon Options:
Bolter with M.45 Targeter: A normal bolter equipped with a M.45 targeter with autosense link and Stalker silenced shells acts as a perfectly satisfactory sniper weapon. This weapon will also wound on a 3+ regardless of the target's Toughness.
Range:40" Strenght:X AP:2 Heavy 2, Sniper
Heavy Bolter with Hellfire Rounds and Suspensors: Potentially a very versatile weapon - if equipped with an additional susupensor unit that provides just enough stability to allow it to be fired on the move. The effective range is reduced but it gains the abuility to provide suppressive fire while advancing.

All Marines Bolters can fire the Special Ammo type listed below. Only one type may be fired per turn.

The metal storm shells explode in prximity to the enemy, their fragmentation casing making pinpoint accuract unnecessary. The penetrative and destructive qualities of the round suffer as a consequence.

Inferno Bolts: A bolter loaded with Inferno rounds can cause far more horrific wounds than a conventionally loaded bolter. This is achieved by filling the bolt with an oxyphoshor gel. Re-roll any failed rolls to wound as well as Penetration rolls (you must accept the second roll even if it is lower then the first)
Range:24" Strenght:5 AP:5 Rapid Fire
Quantom Bolts: A bolter loaded with a Kraken penetrator round is capable of piercing the toughest hide thanks to its adamantine core and improved propellant.

Hellfire Rounds: A bolter loaded with Hellfire rounds is also capable of posioning the most powerful creature. The Hellfire rounds are made to carry mutagenic acid into the enemys' blood stream. The acid is so powerful that even the most enormous creature is vulnerable. A Hellfire round wounds on a 2+ regardless of the target's Toughness.

Deep Strike: The Deathwatch have many ways of reaching a battlfield by surprise. Unless mounted in a vehicale they may always start the game in reserve and arrive by Deep Strike. Because of the ties with the Inquisition when this unit Deep Strikes is only scaters 1D6.
Furious Charge: As per rule book, each member of the unit has Furious Charge against only Xenos. (Chaos marines do not work but Chaos Deamons do, as well as Orks, Nids, Tau, Eldar, Dark Eldar, & Necrons.)
The High Ground for me: Any Veteran equipped with a Bolter and M.45 Targeter may leave the unit and move Independently from the rest of the unit for the remainder of the game. This unit cannot join any other units

New Blood Angels Chaplain...
Ohhh...myyyyy....EMPEROR...
I have read the codex...it is truely an awesome site...
HQ's are a bit pricey...ie each would cost about a Land Raider...Seth is cheaper...but no power weapons...but hey Strenght 8...with rending...be great against armour...Death Company Tyco fills and HQ spot and can kill everything...haha
Also...
Death Company Troops...30 guys can give you 6 DC dreads...but with only 6 troop slots...one squad of DC of 30 guys and 5 DC dread...haha..death to all...
I like the new Dreadnought Lightning claw verson...if you take two...for every unsaved wound you get another attack in...haha

But I wont lie...what I missed when the 4th Edition marines went to the 5th Edition...I lost my I5 Chaplain with 3 attacks and 3 wounds...
I GET HIM BACK...WITH A VENGENCE...any chaplain attached to a DC squad not only gets to re-roll hits...but since they are sooo freakin insane they get to re-roll wounds too...haha
granted no rending but still...THEY GUYS ARE INSANE...WHO NEEDS RENDING WHEN YOU ARE INSANE...haha
Gawd that is so awesome...then regular Chaplains are an elite choice...but really...why not pay the extra 30 points an HQ and clear up an Elite slot for something with more wounds and attacks...and a bigger bite like a Furioso Libby Dread guy with a Force Weapon and one of those Lightning claw strenght 6 thingies...haha...also it would be Strenght 7 on the charge because of Furious Charge too...haha

Well a few things...
I have gotten that new Venerable Dreadnought...
and I have it set up with the finger style power hand and heavy flamer and then the other weapons are all set up for swaping out...
I then took my Iron Clad dreads CCW arm and cut off the fingers and glued the other power weapon hand from the venerable to the front of it and then used that arm for my first dread and threw on two different venerable front peices to make a new one and made him into a Furiso Dread...looks pretty cool...I am thinking of painting him black and making him into a Death Company verson as the front really looks like someone would wear if they are locked in eternal crazyness...
I just need to figure out a way to get 2 DCCW weapons onto my Ironclad again...4 Strenght 10 hits on the charge is always a good thing...haha

Gawd...I Love Fridays...
Even when I am sick I still love this day...haha
Well sorry for the lack of updates I am still a bit peturbed about me having to take down the BA codex last month...I guess since I am not the voice over at Warseer GW gets all angry about it...
WELLL SORRRY FOR LETTING PEOPLE KNOW ABOUT HOW AWESOME YOUR STUFF IS...
Also I have been sick and injured for about 2 weeks now...just now getting into somewhat better shape...ish...haha
Played a few games over the past few weeks...Last Monday was the closest one for a tie or loss for me...came down to the last turn I had two guys left in a Tact squad and had them run behind the base for Capture and Control...and my own base was contested by one of my tact squads or what was left of it and one of the other guys BA Dreads and 5 man Assault Squad...
You would be amazed at how well those Grey Knight Termintators work...but you would also be amazed at how many armour saves I have failed with them...it is sad...haha

Gawd...I Love Fridays
Ok I have been a slacker pretty much with all of Feb...but I have an excuse I got injured doing somethings and I am at about 60-80% on a good day...we wont even say where I am on a bad day...hahaha
but none the less I got a few free minutes so seeing it is Friday...
Honestly I thought a wholesome picture would be better for today...still had some bad thoughts but then...haha

Gawd...I Love Fridays
And now I will enjoy a Saturday that I drop off my daughter...
To be honest I do not enjoy a day like that...watching her leave with her mom really gets to me...but I know that I will see her the next Wed...so I go on with my day...
But on the bright side is after I drop off my daughter I am heading to the FLGS for an Apoc game...and I am bring out the Marines...Roughly Translated One Full Battle Company...and a Crusader Army that comes out to be over 10k worth of Marines and points...that is also not including the Space Wolves I have...which most are painted...I think I can squeeze out 2k worth of Wolves on Foot to take the brunt of the first wave...
I found out last night that I have 25 SM Terminators and 5 more SW terminators...I am thinking of Teleporting most of them down in the rear of the enemies armour and ripping into them with Storm Bolters and Thunder Hammer/Chainfist Combos...haha
But I guess I will see how well I do tomorrow...Because I dont even know if I will get a teammate or will it be me against the store...haha

Another Win against the Wolves of Fernis
Silly wolves with their Leadership 8...I dropped my Sternguard squad and Terminators and brought in a Grand Master and 4 Grey Knight Terminators...Threw them in a Crusader with Cassius attached to the unit and it was a hard hitting unit indeed...Unfortantly I left the unit to far to the right to kill a lot of stuff but the 3 units they did touch all died before they finally got killed off one at a time over the course of the the 5 turn game...haha
4 Tact Squads in Rhinos, 2 Sniper Squads with Telion, an Iron Clad Dread, Crusader with Cassius the GK Termies ate up my 2k list...but they held their own and the snipers were a great distraction...I was able to distract two Grey Hunter squads with one 5 man sniper squad in the woods for 4 turns...by the time he took one of them for his own home objective which was contested by me and holding my own with no issues the game was about over...
He was down to about 12 Grey Hunters through out his whole army and 10 or so blood claws and the Grey Hunters were strung out between 3 squads...all I lost was the command squad and a squad and a half of Tactical marines with those scouts in the woods...1/3 of my army to a majority of his...
But he was a great sport about it...and seeing that he is still learning the game he made a few mistakes but the rolling was not in his favor in that game at all...
Also I got a good chuck of my supplies I think I will be needing to make my first Warhound Titan...Hopefully I can start on it this week...but I will see how it goes...

Gawd...I Love Fridays
Well another week has gone by...another week older...another week wiser...
For example I found a new project...something to do on the side of all my painting and what not...
Titans...
of course everyone does a titan or two on their blogs...but the only ones that show a finished ones are usually the ones from FW...not the Scratch built ones...and seeing that I am on an extremely tight budget...I would have to do a scratch built one...
Lets see if I can actually finish one...haha

The New BA Codex Games
Well last Saturday I got two games in with that Leaked Verson of the new Blood Angels codex...I dont care if it is not the actually thing...heck I doubt it myself...
It is more or less the Regular Space Marine codex only real difference is the Assault Marines are now troops...scouts are now I think Elites...but scoring...so on and so forth...The Veterans are just as many power weapon weilding maniacs...and the honour guard are an upgrade from the veterans meaning you just buy the tech preist, sang priest and banner man...
First game it was a 3 on 3...and I took Seth which gave everyone in my army FC, Rage and something else...which means if you take Seth make sure you take Tactical guys in a rhino and do not let them out or they run away from the objectives...luckly I had two other team mates to sit on them while I just tore into the other three armies...a necron, a Chaos marine, and an IG player...I killed with my list over 1/2 of the other armies...combined...it was awesome...but on the flip side when the game ended I was down to Seth and his honour guard and about 3 assault marines...haha...and none of the Honour guard were dead...came in on that Storm Harbinger on turn 3 or 4...and ate stuff...
Second game was a 2 on 2...Brought in that Librarian Dread from a Drop Pod...killed half a squad of necrons with powers and then got eaten alive by two tomb spiders...who were both down to one wound a piece...then the assault squads came in and well...they called the game on lack of time...sure we had about an hour before they closed...I hate it when they do that...just finish the game...I would finish the game if you were smacking me around too...
Soo...Honestly I still took my two tact squads and all in all the only real difference from my lists is less Tact Squads and more Assault Squads...and I brought in more power weapons in one squad then my army has in general...haha...

I am just a bit peturbed that I got a letter from someone at GW saying I needed to take down the information I had up about the leaked codex...
There were not exact prices or points up...a generalized rule idea...nothing word for word...
But hey I am just surprised I got it about 3 hours after I first posted that...

Gawd...I Love Fridays
Had a decent week so far...got 4 full tactial squads painted up and ready to go...painted up shoulder pads so the different companies...3 5th company squads and 1 6th company squad...4 rhinos were also painted up and ready to go...
Which means I should have a whole company of marines done sometime before april at this rate...But this would mean I would not have my Assault Marines for the BA codex release in March...or whenever it comes out...
Thought ahead on this one...Why not use the same paint scheme....haha

30 More Marines...
Well I have 4 Tactical Squads painted up and ready to go as of this morning around 4 am...This includes 5 Sargs to choose from and 5 Heavy Weapon marines painted up and ready to go...
on top of the other 11 guys already painted up...gives me a total of 42 Marines painted up and ready to go...I would love to post a picture of the basic Table Top Marines for everyone that actually follows this blog...
but the camera battery is charging and so is the cell phone...haha
Sooo...31 Marines equals 31 points to add to the total...
I also have 5 Rhinos ready for a paint job over their primer colors...I think I might meet my goal by April for this entire year...haha

Chaulk up another loss for Team Awesome..
Wait you say...I thought you were on a winning streak...Well against most armies at the worse I can pull out a draw...but nids...nids seems to be my one real bane...I am more or less forced to take a powerfist just to force a wound on those monsterous creatures...T6 for most of them...
Now I know if you are reading this you are thinking...Quit complaining...or what about Warriors and bla bla bla they are all T4...
Sure I will agree...but the three nid players around here...they do not play T4 armies...the only thing less then a T5 in their armies are the swarms...Not even my Multi-meltas can instant kill a T6 guy...unless they are on their last wound...and that is another thing...T6 with 4 or more wounds...really...what the heck man...and then they poop out whole squads of swarms every turn if possible that can move...shoot and assault the same turn they come in...REALLY...COMMON MAN...and you can have three of those things on the field too...that is just a funny wrong...
And then their is their Psyhic Powers...past the test you can make a Squad WS and BS 1 now...oh my gawd...I just went from hitting thist Giant monster on a 4 to a 5...not a whole lot I know but when your tactical marines only have 1 attack anyway...no matter what...those 9 hits just went from maybe 5 to maybe 3...then I need a 6 just to wound you...yeah thanks a lot mr psyhicer...gawd...haha
But I had a fun game tonight...took out quite a few monsterous creatures...and their body guards...unfortantly it was an Loot Counters game... came out to a 2 to 1 victory for the nids...half my army did their job...the other half got slaughtered whole sale...haha...and to top it all off I did not relize I had 4 elite choices in my army until after the game...2 dreads, 1 sternguard squad and 1 terminator squad...stupid stupid stupid...haha...it was ok though...I lost both dreads to one of the Monsterous Creatures...took both of them...one being a Venerable to take him out...but boy did we...haha
I just need to come up with a list that can handle such a large number of those MC's in one go...
Does anyone have any Ideas of what weapons I can use from the Space Marine codex that might help against the new Nid codex...HAha...
Also I should have another 20 Bolter Marines set up and finished by the end of the month...not Special or Heavy Weapons...just regular Bolter Marines...I want to have enough of these guys done to have a Battle Company...all I need are 2 Assault Squads...26 Bolter Marines (7 per tact squad and 6 per dev squad) then paint up all my Heavy Weapons as Ultra Templar...4 more rhinos as I have two Drop Pods set up and ready to go...at the rate I am pumping these guys out for Table Top Ready...I can actually have it done before the Blood Angels come out...
Now if only I had the money for 4 more rhinos and 20 assault marines...haha
Now I know if you are reading this you are thinking...Quit complaining...or what about Warriors and bla bla bla they are all T4...
Sure I will agree...but the three nid players around here...they do not play T4 armies...the only thing less then a T5 in their armies are the swarms...Not even my Multi-meltas can instant kill a T6 guy...unless they are on their last wound...and that is another thing...T6 with 4 or more wounds...really...what the heck man...and then they poop out whole squads of swarms every turn if possible that can move...shoot and assault the same turn they come in...REALLY...COMMON MAN...and you can have three of those things on the field too...that is just a funny wrong...
And then their is their Psyhic Powers...past the test you can make a Squad WS and BS 1 now...oh my gawd...I just went from hitting thist Giant monster on a 4 to a 5...not a whole lot I know but when your tactical marines only have 1 attack anyway...no matter what...those 9 hits just went from maybe 5 to maybe 3...then I need a 6 just to wound you...yeah thanks a lot mr psyhicer...gawd...haha

Thunderfire Cannon...Finally Painted...
Well I was thinking the other day...I have a Techmarine I am painting up but dear gawd he looks like shit to the extreme...period...but I still have my Thunderfire Cannon and Techmarine there...
Sooo I was thinking...why not dry brush him with some chainmail after priming it like I did my Iron Warriors and see where it goes...and actually I am kinda happy with him...no major details as my detail brush has been replaced by something else...hell if I know what it is...haha...looks like a brush but no where close to my detail brush...
So here are some pictures...
I will run this as just a Dreadnought, Monsterous Creature...get a whole 5 points out of it...
Also I am working on another Tactial Squad should be done by tomorrow night...
Which means 16 points for Janurary...

Life in General...
Well...well...well...
Man I love being a Dad...watching my daughter grow up...her speech patterns growing...so on and so forth every day I spend with me daughter is a day I just enjoy way to much...
Then the days I do not have her...bleh...dont get me wrong I have a great hobby to keep me occupied at times...but seriously...I hate the time between the two...Either I am with my daughter or I am gaming...great...happy happy joy joy...my friends that dont play are good guys to hang out with...great drinking buddies...kids of their own...Gaming people themselves but they stick with the gaming consoles...
Kinda wish they played 40k as well...But they do not...so I have to wait till every other Saturday...drive 30-40 minutes one way for 2 games...have a blast and go home...come back on sunday get a game or two in...go home...monday nights I get 1 game in at 2k...the other 2 or 4 games over the weekend wont break 1500...1750 if I am really lucky...haha
I have no idea where this post was going...haha

2000 Points of Blood Angels
Going to give them one last whirl before the New Codex comes out...
Soo the list I will be trying out this coming up Monday Night is an almost pure Troop Choice list...
Dante will be tagging along with an Honour Guard which include a Priest a Rabbi and...haha...no I am kidding...
I will use the Dante/Lemartes combo...

This gives me 30+ assault marines
Lemartes runs around with the DC guys and the Dreads walk forward the best they can...which would be right at the enemy...they are the walking targets...this allows the other two Assault Squads to jump into the fight and counter attack with Dante and his power weapons...
The two Tactical squads would work along the lines of Objective grabing...if it is Capture and Control they both sit behind the objective the entire game as the Assault Marines kill kill kill...last turn if needed turn and get onto objective...works great with my Vanilla Marines...but with this list I have 2 Rhinos instead of one...so it should double my effectiveness...or run one of the Rhinos at their base and add that man troop to claiming objectives...I might drop a Rhino for a Drop Pod for one of the Dreads...to help out where it lands and wrecks havoc...
if it is a flat out Annilation game then everyone moves fowards and kills before they are killed...I already have most of the players plans known...and they know mine...ie move and assault...haha...but none the less it is a tried and true method...
But I need to break off a few flamers and fix up some guys so I wont be proxying anything monday night...haha
Tell me what you guys think I am missing here...but this is just for fun too...haha

Blood Angels Update again...what is this the 3rd or 4th

Blood Angel FOC is divergant from the Ultramarine one:
-Dreadnoughts are heavy support.
-Furioso Dreads with droppods are fast attack.
-Twin scout entries are both elites, but one is scoring.
-Only dedicated ground transport is the Rhino (Razorbacks are out)
-Assault Squad and Tactical Squad are troops.
-Honour Guard can be troops if fielded with Dante.
-Jump pack units are in every FOC category except heavy support and HQ:
--Assault Squad - troops

Death Company is 0-1 and doesn't need a slot in the FOC
Units Rules

Land Raider: Redeemer, Crusader and Standard
Terminator sergeants can get close combat wargear. There is a Terminator upgrade to allow shooting in an enemy phase.
Exalted: 4/4/4(5)/4/1/5/1+1/10/3+, jump troops, hit & run, furious charge, no red fury/combat tactics, power armor, stormbolter, power weapon, bolt pistol, no options, no transports.
Quite angelic: masterfully crafted slim armor, jump packs, mechanical wings, masks, long hair.

And boy did I...
haha...actually it was annilation 12 to 10...but the 12 was my entire army...haha
stupid nids and their stupid Monsterous Creatures...Had my Chaplain assault but a Tyrant and some guard at the last turn...makes all his Invuln saves from the Tyrant...and in his Terminator Armour fails 2 armour saves...stupid lash-thingies making me initivite 1...haha
But I finally lost...and you know what...I feel like I did a great job...took out half the monsterous creatures and 6 full squads of little guys...haha

In the Immortal Words...
Of that Russian secondary geeky nerd villian from that James Bond movie...
"I AM INVINISBLE..." I just have to make sure there is no liquid nitrogen around me when I say that...what do I mean you ask...for the past few weeks...I am unstopable...the Dice gods love me...The closest thing I have had was my draw against the Blood Angel guy from last monday but a Kill Point count up after the game put me flat out in the win catagory...
Now I will be the first to say I am not even close to one of the best players in the world...but as of late there is no competition...Do not get me wrong I would not doubt if tomorrows game if I can get one in...I would loose literally everyone but a scout...haha...
But todays last game it was 2 on 2...my Marines and orks vs Deathwing Terminators and Chaos Marines...I lost one Tactical Marine...I killed literally everything on my half of the board...plus the other half infront of me...and started on the other guys chaos stuff when the Deathwing guy said he was down to a Dreadnought and was calling it...

Got another Sarge Done...
Quick and tabletop ready...literally...haha
I seem to be running my Sarges for the Ultra Templar with a Powerfist and Plasma Pistol...both seem to make their points back within 2 turns or so...sooo I see no need to swap out items as of yet...
Basic idea of a Squad is a Sarge w/Powerfist, Plasma Pistol, 9 more guys a Melta and a Heavy Bolter...or a Multi-Melta if I am facing more then one Land Raider...or more then two tanks...I hate tanks...and tanks hate me Double D6...haha everyone wins...except those tanks...
Also Jawaballs is right a Baal Predator can take out a Land Raider...I dont know if I said that the other day...or heck if I told you about my game against the Blood Angels guy...Turn one...I lost my Land Raider to Rending...I was shocked...and amazed...but hey if you can't afford to loose the vehcale then you probably did not need to bring it...haha...Still won the game but it made the game that much closer...haha

I think We can think of this as preview, some of it wrong, most of it right.Either someone is very good at taking snippets and piecing them together without making mistakes, or has learned how to pick through GW's garbage exceptionally well.
2) I'm going to take this data and conjecture what we can about the likely army list unless there's an FOC modulation as there was with SWolf HQ's.
I'm doing this to project what we know, what we have from the rumors, and what we are sure to be pushed to buy into a coherent whole. I'm trying to leverage the unique points of BA as I recall them...in the SW dex everything that was special about the wolves got its amps turned up to eleven. We have no reason to think otherwise.
Call this a wishlist if you like. I call it an intelligence assessment.

Conjecture: Cheaper upgrade on Razorback to Heavy flamers/assault cannon.
Scouts? (with a box set on release this is going to have some push to it, don't know if it will be an abundance or a quality push).
FA
Squad with wings (exalted assault sqad) (likely vampire angel aesthetic) will DS, Storm Bolters, S5 sword (frost axe analogue). (conjecture: likely to have an invulnerable save).
Land Speeder Storm with (at least) fluff on scouts riding to hackzone in it. Possible rule allowing scouts to disembark/assault on turn of landing (I believe that Codex marines can't?). Conjecture: Possible ability to squad up LSS's. Possible rule allowing cerebus launcher to affect other nearby squads.
Furioso Dread, has fleet, maybe hellhound template projection ability (or upgrade to it).

Scout bikers with a (conjectural) heavy flamer option.
Bikers with a Heavy flamer option, maybe an attack bike with some kind of large template weapon.
The rumored flying vehicle. I'm very incredulous that this will show up personally, but if it does I call a 'baby thawk' that'll transport tac squads (perhaps only 5/6 models) and have weaponry along the lines of 2 MLs and TLAC. Will definitely have the iconic D-Day landing craft meme-ramp if it does.

The First Paint Job
And my Camera Battery is dead...and my cell phone is charging...son of a...
Well none the less I finally painted up my last 5 sniper scouts as well as my Ironclad Dreadnought...all for the Ultra Templar Chapter...this will give me two sniper bases to shoot from if needed...
But none the less I got them painted up for Jan's points...I might get another tact squad started this month...hopefully...

also as I write this post my Cell Phone is done charging so how about some quick shots...
Sooo that is 5 Infantry and 1 Dreadnought equals 10 points total...

On a Roll of Awesome Dice...
Well lately my games were a bit of a hit or miss...either I tied or got all our slaughtered...so like many people I bought a new set of dice as my awesome dice set were dying on my more then I would like them to...
and low and behold since last monday back in 2009 against a Chaos Khorne List with Kharn himself at 2000 points against my Ultra Templar 2000 point list...all I lost was 4 assault marines my Chaplain in Terminator Armour and that was it...whole...sale...slaughter...I even attacked the Chaos guys...it was great...haha
Kharn jumped out of the Land Raider as the Drop Pod came down and got hit with a Melta shot point blank and 16 some odd rapid fire bolters...it was awesome...why so much focused fire on one guy...well first off I had a Kharn model...painted up quite nice too thank you...and he was a beast in Close Combat...whole squads would die painfully...second...well the land raider just got popped by my Crusaders Multi-Melta and wrecked...then to top it all off...the squad of Bezekers right next to him were also rapid fired to death so he was the only target in range...it was fun...
The other day on Saturday I went up against a Necron Player who does the Warith Wing of doom...tied them up with an Ironclad Dread for 4 turns as my other guys took out the warriors...it was fun...we made it to the end of turn 5 I finished off the last of his 75% of guys thus making him phase out...so no need to roll for turn 6...haha
Next game was against him and another necron player...with me and a Nid guy and another SM player...3k vs 3k...lets just say Telion and their snipers made their due back by taking out a whole squad of heavy destroyers turn one...turn two they finished off the destroyers...turn three the other heavy destroyers...turn 4 anything they could shoot at...it was great...my 138 points really made them selves back up...3+ cover save for the win...haha...once again able to phase him out...but at the end of turn 4...both of them at the sametime...Drop Pods are my new favorite item of doom...rapid fire into the warriors and laugh at them as the remaining ones get assault by assault terminators...haha
Sundays game was a 3 way battle royal...one how these work two guys duke it out and the third comes in for the win or it turns out to be a 2 on 1 game...well this one was not...nids vs chaos vs me and my awesome marines...haha
chaos was able to take out two monsterous creatures I took out another one...and finished off chaos as chaos took out a tactical squad...scouts shooting the hell out of everything...it was great...
I tied with the nids that game...
Last Night was a blast as well...2k Me vs 2k BT...it was capture and controll the other guys base one...I even brought in some assault marines for the killing in close combat...all they did was use bolt pistols and the plasma pistol in the squad...(he died by the way...) but by the end of the game I had my scouts and sternguard still in my base and my entire army that was left (which was a lot) in his...only thing left of his on the field was a wrecked dreadnought and his Marshall and command squad in a Razorback racing towards my base to contest it...unfortantly I forgot to move my entire army the second turn so we had to go the whole five rounds...haha
dont worry...he forgot to move his razorback on turn 4...haha

no really I do...I had my daughter last night so this was my first sober New Years in ohhh...since I was old enough to drink really...haha...and I dont mean 21 either...haha
but none the less HAPPY NEW YEAR...
